Job Title: IT Field Support Lead – West Coast

Location: 2355 E Camelback Rd Suite 850, Phoenix, AZ 85016 (On-site, 5 days/week)
Travel: Regular travel to field offices and job sites. A personal vehicle is highly recommended.

Compensation:

  • $30–$40/hour during a 6-month contract evaluation period
  • Full-time offer post-evaluation: $90,000–$120,000 annual salary

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a hands-on IT Field Support Lead to serve as the primary technical resource for our West Coast operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, on-site environments and enjoys solving real-time issues across multiple locations. You’ll be the face of IT for our field teams—delivering responsive support, managing hardware/software deployments, and ensuring seamless connectivity at construction sites and satellite offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technical support across West Coast locations, including job sites and field offices
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in real-world environments—often with limited infrastructure
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain laptops, mobile devices, printers, and networking equipment
  • Coordinate with local site managers to ensure IT readiness for new projects, relocations, and expansions
  • Track and report field support metrics, response times, and recurring issues to improve service delivery
  • Act as a liaison between field teams and central IT—translating technical needs into actionable solutions
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets across locations; ensure timely updates and replacements
  • Travel regularly to support remote teams, conduct site audits, and deliver hands-on assistance
  • Resolve escalated support tickets and mentor junior technicians when needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years in IT support, with at least 2 years in field or remote site support
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, mobile devices, networking, and cloud-based tools
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft MD-100/MD-101 are a plus
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and service desk platforms (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Excellent communication skills—able to support non-technical users in fast-paced environments
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage travel schedules effectively
  • Adaptable and resourceful—comfortable working in construction trailers, field offices, and corporate settings
