Job DescriptionHo-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells is looking for full time Security Officers. Our facility consists of a gaming floor floor that contains slot machines, table games, bars and a grill area. Officers are responsible for providing our customers excellent guest service, requesting and accepting identification from all guests to ensure compliance with the legal age for gaming; escorting assets including gaming tickets, cash, and other facility monies; monitoring for criminal behavior and investigating basic incidents. Prior experience with customer service or Security functions is preferred but not required.Pay<ul><li>Starting pay for our Security Officer position is $20.55 per hour</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Medical insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li><li>401k with employer matching</li><li>Annual performance review with up to 4% increase</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid holiday time (13)</li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li><li>Professional training</li><li>Uniforms and equipment supplied</li></ul>Work Schedule<ul><li>We are looking for full-time (40 hours per week) candidates, with opportunities for overtime.</li></ul>Security Officer DutiesSecurity Officer duties include but are not limited to the following:<ul><li>Ensure compliance with all Ho-Chunk Nation regulatory laws, policies, standard operating procedures, and state, local, federal laws, as they pertain to the position.</li><li>Promote positive guest and employee relations.</li><li>Provide medical care, as needed, up to the level or training provided.</li><li>Observe and monitor guests for criminal and suspicious activities.</li><li>Document incidents by writing clear and concise reports.</li><li>Ensure safe transportation of Ho-Chunk Nation assets as required by department policy.</li><li>Protecting evidence and scenes in the event of incident, accident, emergency, or investigation.</li><li>Must complete departmental trainings annually for this position.</li><li>Special duties includes Dispatch, Outside Patrol, Lost &amp; Found Officer, and Field Training Officer.</li></ul>EducationMinimum - High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred - Associates Degree or working towards a degree in criminal justice or 60 college creditsWork ExperienceMinimum - 18 years or olderPreferred - customer service, security or law enforcementJob Type: Full-timePay: From $20.55 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
