Security Officer (Full-Time) 2nd & 3rd Shift

Job Description

Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells is looking for full time Security Officers. Our facility consists of a gaming floor floor that contains slot machines, table games, bars and a grill area. Officers are responsible for providing our customers excellent guest service, requesting and accepting identification from all guests to ensure compliance with the legal age for gaming; escorting assets including gaming tickets, cash, and other facility monies; monitoring for criminal behavior and investigating basic incidents. Prior experience with customer service or Security functions is preferred but not required.

Pay

• Starting pay for our Security Officer position is $20.55 per hour

Work Schedule

• We are looking for full-time (40 hours per week) candidates, with opportunities for overtime.

Security Officer Duties

Security Officer duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Ensure compliance with all Ho-Chunk Nation regulatory laws, policies, standard operating procedures, and state, local, federal laws, as they pertain to the position.
• Promote positive guest and employee relations.
• Provide medical care, as needed, up to the level or training provided.
• Observe and monitor guests for criminal and suspicious activities.
• Document incidents by writing clear and concise reports.
• Ensure safe transportation of Ho-Chunk Nation assets as required by department policy.
• Protecting evidence and scenes in the event of incident, accident, emergency, or investigation.
• Must complete departmental trainings annually for this position.
• Special duties includes Dispatch, Outside Patrol, Lost & Found Officer, and Field Training Officer.

Education

Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred - Associates Degree or working towards a degree in criminal justice or 60 college credits

Work Experience

Minimum - 18 years or older

Preferred - customer service, security or law enforcement
