<div><div><b>Hog Slat, Incorporated</b>, the world&rsquo;s leading provider of parts, equipment and turn-key construction to the swine &amp; poultry industries is seeking an <b>Operations Manager - Distribution Center</b> with excellent customer service, reasoning and management skills to join our team in <b>Humboldt, Iowa.</b></div>
<div>This position will report directly to the General Manager of the facility.<br>

<b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</b><br>
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.</div>
<ul><li>Provide each employee in department with necessary information to perform their assigned duties on a daily schedule.</li>
<li>With assistance and direction from the Human Resources Department, ensure a safe working environment, including the warehouse and outside, yard area.</li>
<li>Maintain and provide Warehouse overview report to appropriate levels of management. Ensure information contained within is accurate and easily discernible.</li>
<li>Ensure Company housekeeping expectations are met by department personnel. Maintain a clean warehouse and orderly yard at all times.</li>
<li>Ensure and maintain accurate inventory information at all times, including documenting reasons for any discrepancies. The incumbent will also be expected to correct these situations in a timely manner as well.</li>
<li>Maintain an acceptable attendance record, in accordance with Company policy.</li>
</ul><div><b>SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:</b><br>
The best candidates for the Operations Manager position at Hog Slat will have all of the following previous experiences:</div>
<ul><li>Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the hog farming industry</li>
<li>Knowledge of parts and equipment used in modern hog operations is strongly preferred</li>
<li>Previous experience managing in a dynamic customer service environment</li>
<li>Understanding of Microsoft Office applications</li>
<li>Experience using E-mail, Word and Excel in daily communications</li>
<li>Ability to quickly learn inventory management software</li>
<li>Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Must be willing and able to obtain fork lift certification and use a fork lift regularly</li>
<li>Must poses a valid driver license</li>
<li>Must have the ability to delegate and hold others responsible for daily tasks</li>
