Accounts Receivable Job DescriptionHolston Gases Inc., a leading distributor of industrial, medical, &amp; specialty gases &amp; welding supplies &amp; equipment, is seeking motivated individual to join our team.JOB SUMMARY:The Account Receivable Clerk will organize, coordinate and preform office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. Responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, accounts receivable etc.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:<ul><li>Reviewing files and records to answer requests for information</li><li>Checking and distributing documents and correspondence</li><li>Maintaining filing systems</li><li>Credit Card Posting, Process cash/charge sales registers daily</li><li>Month end cylinder rent and statements</li><li>Process all invoice corrections / Sending out invoices</li><li>Compiling records of office activities.</li><li>Photocopying, scanning and faxing</li><li>Typing documents and correspondence</li><li>Checking and entering data</li><li>Updating and maintaining databases</li><li>Answering and directing phone calls</li><li>Accounts Receivable, Scan daily tickets</li><li>Preparing and sending outgoing mailings and packages</li><li>Controlling basic accounting functions such as checking invoices and fuel receipts etc.</li></ul>Other Duties as Required: This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of this position. Performance of this job in a safe manner and in keeping with established Holston Gases policies is a condition of employment.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Proficient in use of email, internet and excel</li><li>1 year experience preferred (Office management, AR)</li><li>Ability to read and comprehend text</li><li>Knowledge of relevant software application including MS Office</li><li>Accurate keyboard skills</li><li>Must have basic computer experience</li><li>Knowledge of administrative procedures</li><li>Good numeracy skills</li><li>Good communication skills &ndash; verbal and written</li><li>Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines</li><li>Ability to lift 40 lbs. required</li><li>Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.</li><li>Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li></ul>Looking for a great company to work for?
