Job OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities and outdoor spaces. Your expertise in mechanical systems, landscaping, and general maintenance will ensure our environment remains welcoming, safe, and well-kept. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your diverse skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the overall excellence of our operations.Duties<ul><li>Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical systems, irrigation setups, and landscaping equipment to ensure optimal operation.</li><li>Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, and landscape design enhancements to keep outdoor areas vibrant and inviting.</li><li>Identify various plants and trees to ensure proper horticultural care; manage plant health through appropriate pruning, fertilizing, and pest control measures.</li><li>Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other machinery safely and efficiently for construction or landscaping projects.</li><li>Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules; troubleshoot issues related to leaks or malfunctions.</li><li>Carry out snow plowing, tree trimming, hardscape repairs, lawn care, and gardening activities to maintain year-round outdoor aesthetics.</li><li>Assist with construction projects or repairs around the facility by utilizing construction experience and knowledge of safety standards.</li><li>Implement pesticide management practices responsibly to protect plant health while ensuring safety protocols are followed.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in general maintenance or landscaping roles with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and horticulture practices.</li><li>Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, planting, pruning, and hardscape installation.</li><li>Knowledge of irrigation systems operation, troubleshooting, and repair methods.</li><li>Experience with tree care including trimming, planting, and disease management is preferred.</li><li>Ability to operate various tools such as hand tools, power tools, excavators, and snow plowing equipment safely.</li><li>Construction experience is a plus&mdash;especially in site preparation or minor building repairs.</li><li>Strong understanding of safety procedures related to pesticide use, equipment operation, and general maintenance tasks.</li></ul>Join us as a Maintenance Worker if you&rsquo;re passionate about creating safe and beautiful environments!
