Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nanny/Household Manager to provide attentive childcare and manage household tasks for a busy family. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, organized, and capable of creating a safe, engaging environment for children of various ages, including infants and preschoolers. This role offers an opportunity to support a family's daily routines while ensuring the well-being and development of their children. The position requires a compassionate individual with strong childcare skills and household management experience.Schedule: Monday to Friday 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.Compensation: $28 to $32 per hour, on the books, plus standard PTO, Sick Leave &amp; Holiday PayGuaranteed 25 hours per weekResponsibilities<ul><li>Provide high-quality childcare for school aged child ensuring their safety, health, and emotional well-being</li><li>Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to child's dietary needs and preferences</li><li>Assist with daily routines such as school pick-ups, activities, transportation</li><li>Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning activities, and developmental exercises</li><li>Manage household tasks including light cleaning, laundry, organizing supplies, and maintaining a tidy environment</li><li>Support with errands such as grocery shopping or household supplies procurement</li><li>Administer basic first aid when necessary and handle minor medical needs with professionalism</li><li>Coordinate schedules for appointments, extracurricular activities, and playdates</li><li>Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere that promotes growth, independence, and curiosity</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in childcare roles such as nannying, babysitting, daycare work, or teaching young children</li><li>Knowledge of school aged child development principles</li><li>First aid certification is preferred; ability to respond calmly in emergency situations</li><li>Strong skills in meal preparation and household management tasks such as cleaning and organizing</li><li>Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience</li><li>Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities effectively</li><li>Prior experience in caregiving roles involving infants or young children is highly desirable</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Comfortable with Pets</li><li>Authorized to work in US</li><li>Comfortable with a background check</li><li>Valid Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle for child transportation</li><li>CPR &amp; First Aid Certified</li><li>Up-to-date on all vaccinations</li></ul>This position offers an enriching environment for someone passionate about nurturing children while efficiently managing household responsibilities.
