Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant or certified phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and medical administrative support, with experience in various medical settings, including outpatient clinics, urgent care, or hospital environments. This role is essential for providing high-quality care to our patients and ensuring smooth operations within the practice.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.</li><li>Perform intake duties, including obtaining vital signs and medical history.</li><li>Administer medications as directed by provider and ensure proper documentation.</li><li>Utilize EHR systems for accurate patient record management.</li><li>Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication administration.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols.</li><li>Participate in the training of new staff members as needed.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Active certification as a Medical Assistant or phlebotomist from an accredited program.</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding.</li><li>Experience in hospital medicine or urgent care settings is preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in EHR systems for effective patient management.</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.</li><li>Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating strong organizational skills.</li><li>Bilingual preferred.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $16.00 per hourWork Location: In person
