Job Overview We are seeking a meticulous and highly skilled Compliance Billing Officer. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding practices, and billing procedures to effectively support our healthcare operations.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies using DRG, CPT coding, and ICD-10 standards.</li><li>Review patient records for completeness and accuracy before billing.</li><li>Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any discrepancies or issues with insurance providers.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical billing regulations and coding updates.</li><li>Process payments and adjustments in accordance with company policies.</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation is available for billing purposes.</li><li>Utilize EMR and EHR systems to manage patient information and billing records efficiently.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or collections within a healthcare setting is essential.</li><li>Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to interpret medical records accurately.</li><li>Experience working with EMR and EHR systems is highly desirable.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
