OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our dynamic food service team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with experience or interest in culinary operations, catering, and restaurant settings. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food handling, cleaning, and kitchen support within a fast-paced environment.Duties<ul><li>Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met</li><li>Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service hours</li><li>Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including sweeping and mopping floors when necessary</li><li>Support catering events by ensuring all serving ware is cleaned and ready for use</li><li>Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health regulations</li><li>Assist with general kitchen organization and inventory management as directed by supervisors</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential</li><li>Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail</li><li>Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward assisting colleagues and supporting the overall operation</li><li>Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed</li><li>Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as required for cleaning supplies and dishware</li><li>Basic understanding of kitchen safety protocols and cleanliness standards</li></ul>This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations within our culinary team.
