Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our dynamic food service team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with experience or interest in culinary operations, catering, and restaurant settings. Duties

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service hours
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including sweeping and mopping floors when necessary
• Support catering events by ensuring all serving ware is cleaned and ready for use
• Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health regulations
• Assist with general kitchen organization and inventory management as directed by supervisors

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward assisting colleagues and supporting the overall operation
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as required for cleaning supplies and dishware
• Basic understanding of kitchen safety protocols and cleanliness standards

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 32 per week
