Please note that will conduct research on the organization you listed.If you are currently enrolled in one of the programs and working on your certifications, please apply.Duties:Behavior Assessments and Behavior Modification<ul><li>Assess and evaluate dogs' behavior and temperament</li><li>Knowledge about Reactivity and Aggression in Dogs</li><li>Create customized training plans to address specific behavioral issues</li><li>Keep notes and document in our Software</li></ul>Private Lessons (in home and at the Facility)<ul><li>Assess and evaluate dogs' behavior and temperament</li><li>Create customized training plans to address specific behavioral issues</li><li>Keep notes and document in our Software</li></ul>Classes<ul><li>Teach basic manners such as sit, stay, and come</li><li>Develop classes on different subjects and teach</li></ul>Dayschool/Board and Train<ul><li>Conduct dog training sessions using positive reinforcement techniques</li><li>Perform Meet&amp;Greets</li><li>Perform Orientations for Boarding and Dayschool</li><li>Train Board&amp;Train Dogs</li><li>Walk Boarding Only Dogs</li><li>Document Training with Pawgress Reports with photo/video and in writing</li><li>Assist with kennel duties, including feeding, cleaning, and exercise when needed</li><li>Run Playgroups as needed</li><li>Checking in Dogs as needed</li><li>Take payments as needed</li><li>Collaborate with other team members to ensure the well-being of all dogs in the facility</li></ul>Other<ul><li>Supervise Apprentices</li><li>Complete client waivers</li><li>Obtain Vaccination Records. Upload and enter in Gingr</li><li>Maintain HoD Standards</li><li>Work with your team to complete all tasks</li><li>Offer exceptional customer service to clients and address any concerns or questions they may have</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Previous experience working as a dog trainer / behavior consultant</li><li>Experience with Reactive and/or Aggressive Dogs</li><li>Knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific needs</li><li>Sound knowledge of positive reinforcement training methods</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written</li><li>Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt training techniques to individual dogs' needs</li></ul>Please note that this position may require heavy lifting at timesPhilosophyIf you are passionate about working with dogs and helping them to increase and/or strengthen the bond between the dog and it's human, we would like to hear from you!
