The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing all HR-related duties on a professional, confidential level and works closely with leadership team members. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance.</p></div><br>

</p><div><div><p><b>Responsibilities/Essential Functions:</b></p></div><div><div><p><b><br>
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding</b></p><ul><li>
Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs</li><li>
Post job openings, screen applicants, coordinate interviews through Paycom</li><li>
Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation activities</li></ul><p><b>
Employee Relations and Engagement</b></p><ul><li>
Acts as a trusted HR resource to employees and managers on policies, performance issues and workplace concerns</li><li>
Support conflict resolution and disciplinary process as needed</li></ul><p><b>
HR Administration</b></p><ul><li>
Maintain accurate employee records (electronic and physical)</li><li>
Administer and manage benefit programs</li><li>
Prepare HR documents such as offer letters, onboarding materials and policy updates
</li></ul><p><b>Performance Management</b></p><ul><li>
Assist in coordinating performance review and evaluations</li><li>
Help managers and employees understand performance processes</li></ul><p><b>
Compliance &amp; Policy</b></p><ul><li>
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations</li><li>
Help develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures</li><li>
Manage all Workers' Compensation claims and Unemployment claims</li></ul><p><b>
Reporting &amp; HR Metrics</b></p><ul><li>
Track and analyze HR data (e.g., time to hire, turnover rates) and prepare basic HR reports</li><li>
Maintains HR Suite in Paycom as well as employee passwords</li><li>
Maintains human resources information systems records and maintains confidentiality for all personnel files</li><li>
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefit laws and regulations</li><li>
Assist with 401K and payroll audits</li><li>
Prepares tax documents and disclosures for compliance in regard to benefits and 401K plan</li><li>
Remains in compliance with all legal and institutional requirements at all times</li><li>
Demonstrate respect for employee privacy</li><li>
Assist with miscellaneous projects and additional duties as required</li></ul></div></div><br>

Qualifications:</b></p><p><br>

<div><p><b>Education &amp; Experience:</b></p><br>
<ul><li>
BS/BA in Business Administration or Human Resources Management</li><li>
Previous Humans Resource Generalist experience (2-3 years)</li><li>
Human Resources certifications preferred</li><li>
Understanding employment laws and HR best practices</li></ul></div><div><p><b><br>
Skills/Competencies:</b></p><br>
<ul><li>
Attention to detail</li><li>
Good knowledge of employment/labor laws</li><li>
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; Paycom</li><li>
Solid understanding of general human resources policies</li><li>
Good organizational &amp; time management skills</li><li>

Aptitude in problem-solving</li><li>

Physical Demands:</b></p><p><br>
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear in order to exchange information. This is largely a sedentary role. Occasionally moves to access files, fax &amp; copy machines. On occasions may lift up to 10 lbs.</p></div><div><p><b><br>
Work Environment:</b></p><p><br>
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy and fax machines, filing cabinets.</p></div><div><p><b><br>
