This position offers an exciting opportunity to be on the move while contributing to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate various types of vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.</li><li>Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines.</li><li>Load, unload, and secure merchandise with proper lifting practices, including heavy lifting when necessary.</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients to confirm delivery details, answer questions, and build positive relationships.</li><li>Upsell additional products or services where appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales goals.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of deliveries, route logs, and vehicle inspections in accordance with organizational standards.</li><li>Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure safety and compliance.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in commercial driving, route driving, or heavy vehicle operation with a clean driving record.</li><li>Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, merchandising techniques, and retail store operations.</li><li>Excellent math skills for calculating delivery loads, pricing adjustments, and route planning.</li><li>Exceptional communication skills for client interaction, team coordination, and reporting.</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices.</li><li>Familiarity with DOT regulations and commercial truck driving standards.</li><li>Customer service orientation with a talent for relationship building and client communication.</li><li>Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Experience in sales or upselling techniques to enhance revenue opportunities.</li><li>Background in military service or military-style discipline that emphasizes safety, organization, and reliability is a plus.</li></ul>Embark on a rewarding journey as a Delivery Driver where your energy fuels our success!
