 Job Overview:
 
 This role will be responsible for leading product strategy, business development, innovation and growth initiatives for the Commodities business. You should have strong strategic thinking, deep industry expertise, and hands-on execution to drive market share, client engagement and revenue growth.
 
 
 The incumbent will represent the Commodities business with senior management, industry bodies, regulators, and key clients, while ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams for effective delivery.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Strategic Leadership &amp; Growth
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Define and implement strategic initiatives to grow commodities market share, expand client base, and increase average daily turnover (ADT) and revenues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Represent commodities product performance, growth opportunities, and risks in senior management discussions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Anticipate regulatory and market changes and proactively align product strategy.
 </li>

 Product Innovation &amp; Regulatory Alignment
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Identify gaps in the current product suite and lead the development of innovative offerings aligned with market needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Engage with regulators (SEBI), exchanges (MCX), and industry bodies for product approvals, advocacy, and compliance alignment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor competitor strategies and global best practices to maintain competitive edge.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Cross-Functional &amp; Business Alignment
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead collaboration with IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and other internal functions for product delivery.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate closely with business verticals such as Private Wealth Management, Advisory, and Retail Acquisition teams to ensure product adoption.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide thought leadership and guidance to internal product managers and associates (even without direct reporting).
 </li>

 Marketing &amp; Client Engagement
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Drive cross-selling campaigns across the organization&rsquo;s existing client base via digital channels, social media, and targeted communications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Represent the organization in senior-level client meetings, escalations, and industry webinars/events.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build visibility for commodities through external speaking engagements, high-impact webinars, and content-driven marketing.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Requirements:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 15&ndash;22 years of relevant experience in commodities product management/trading/derivatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of commodity exchanges (MCX &amp; NSE), regulatory frameworks, and industry practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to influence strategy and engage with senior external stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 NISM Series XVI: Commodity Derivatives Certification
 </li>
 <li>
 
 The candidate should be flexible to work in shifts (8:30 AM &ndash; 5:30 PM) or 1:30 PM &ndash; 10:30 PM), and with the possibility of changes as required by the business.

Lead - Commodities

 Job Purpose:
 
 
 
 This role in essence would be an Investment Counsellor who would advise large Family Office/UHNI/Corporate Treasuries on their overall investment portfolio and act like a portfolio manager to them, would be required to engage with client at a portfolio level, advise on overall asset allocation and recommend products which are suitable for the clients as per their risk profile and investment objective. It may also require the person to help the client in raising funds, doing transaction advisory in collaboration with corporate finance team or otherwise. The role would entail client mining (predominantly) but also deal/client sourcing occasionally as also helping RM's in converting such large accounts. The person has to be well-versed across financial instruments &ndash; plain vanilla to exotic and have a penchant for deal structuring &amp; closures.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:

 Own the business performance of the region in terms of revenue, market share both in terms of NCA &amp; increased AUM.
 </li>

 Working closely with Relationship Managers and clients, providing advice on investments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Providing clients with specialist investment advice, constructing and managing their strategic asset allocation and tactical portfolios
 </li>
 <li>
 Continually seeking to enhance investment platforms in line with evolving market development
 </li>
 <li>
 Creating value for the clients across asset classes and managing portfolios
 </li>
 <li>
 Driving of strategic and tactical allocation strategies along with Research &amp; Product team - Advisory desk would play pivotal role in product / asset allocation strategies for clients, based on investment views and client's investment needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for training / educating / coaching and upskilling all colleagues on market and product knowledge
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinating with all AMC / 3rd party Fund Managers and being the interface
 </li>
 <li>
 Organizing and conducting event for clients and colleagues with fund manager
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Skills:
 
 
 
 &bull; 12 - 20 years of relevant experience
 
 
 &bull; Market knowledge &ndash; Ability to engage with the customer on views on markets in general including outlook on equity markets, interest rates, inflation etc.
 
 
 &bull; Specialized product knowledge &ndash; Have a specialized product knowledge about various investment products available in the market including:
 
 
 &bull; Client facing experience and strong analytical skills
 
 
 &bull; Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external clients.
