The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with excellent problem solving &amp; organizational skills who can thrive in a data-rich environment.Responsibilities Include: <ul><li>Reviewing purchase order acknowledgements for accuracy</li><li>Correcting vendor shipping discrepancies for all branches</li><li>Research and resolve invoice / purchase order price variances</li><li>Tracking and notifying the field on vendor price increases</li><li>Maintain and update price books</li><li>Implementing vendor price increases</li><li>Light purchasing of product lines</li><li>Review and resolve past due, open purchase orders with vendors</li><li>Update various vendor notes in our AP file</li><li>Researching and processing inventory adjustments</li><li>Processing customer returns</li><li>Assist in managing various customer &amp; vendor returns</li><li>Entering promotional pricing</li><li>New product set up</li></ul>Key Working Relationships:The successful candidate will report to the Purchasing Supervisor in Norridge, Illinois.
