Integrative Emergency Services (IES) is now hiring experienced Physician Assistants or Emergency Nurse Practitioners (ENP-C) Nocturnist in the Emergency Department at Tucson Medical Center.Positions Available:<ul><li>Full Time Adult ER</li><li>Part Time, PRN &amp; Seasonal &ndash; Adult ER &amp; Pediatric ER</li></ul>Adult Emergency Department Information:<ul><li>Volume: 80,000</li><li>Admission Rate: 32%</li><li>Patients/Hour: 1.7</li><li>Physician Coverage: 69 hrs daily</li><li>APP Coverage: 50 hrs daily</li><li>Acuity: high</li><li>ED Beds: 60</li><li>EMR: Epic</li><li>Scribes: No</li><li>Dictation: PowerScribe</li><li>Hospital Beds: 615</li><li>Physician Shifts: 8 hours &amp; 9 hours</li><li>APP Shifts:</li><li>Fast track: 7a-3p, 9a-9p, 3p-11p</li><li>ED Extension: 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 4p-12a</li></ul>Pediatric Emergency Department<ul><li>Separate dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department</li><li>APP Shifts: 11a-11p daily &amp; 6p-12p seasonal shift</li><li>APP Coverage: 12 hours daily; 18 hours daily during winter surge</li><li>Volume: 31,000</li><li>Admission Rate: 5%</li><li>Patients/Hour: 1.8-2 per clinician</li><li>Physician Shifts: 9 hours (7a - 4p; 3p - 12a; 10p - 7a)</li><li>Physician Coverage: 27 hours daily</li><li>ED Beds: 14</li><li>Documentation: Epic</li><li>42-bed Level III NICU</li><li>12-bed PICU</li><li>33-bed Inpatient Pediatric Unit with around-the-clock in-house pediatric hospitalists</li><li>Specially trained child life specialists on staff</li><li>Wide range of pediatric subspecialist physicians on staff</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>AZ PA or ENP license and certification</li><li>One or more years of post-grad hospital ER experience in an APC role</li><li>DEA certificate</li><li>BLS, ACLS &amp; PALS</li></ul>Compensation:<ul><li>Adult ER: $110/hour ($99/hr base pay &amp; $11/hr QSP) &amp; $10/hr bonus if 8.9 RVUs/hr met &ndash; making the cap $120/hr</li><li>Peds ER: $100/hour ($90/hr base pay &amp; $10/hr QSP) &amp; $10/hr bonus if 8 RVUs/hr met or $20/hr bonus if 8.9 RVUs/hr met &ndash; making the cap $120/hr</li><li>$6/hr Night Shift Differential (12a-6p); paid for entire shift if dedicated nocturnist</li><li>Holiday Pay: Time and a half on designated holidays</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Benefits eligible on first clinical shift (full time for benefits eligibility is an average of 120 hours per month)</li><li>Coverage provided at no cost: Life, LTD, EAP</li><li>Optional coverages provided with employee paid premium: Medical, Dental, Vision, Optional Life, STD, Pet, Accident, Critical Illness</li><li>Healthcare Savings Account with $500 or $1,000 annual seed money contribution from company or Flexible Savings Account</li><li>401K with immediately vested company match of 100% for the first 3% of salary deferral and 50% of 4-5% of salary deferral (annual maximum company match of $14,000)</li><li>$5,000 Annual CME/Business Expense Reimbursement Allowance (pro-rated based on the month you start)</li></ul>Pay: $110.00 - $120.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have one or more years of post-grad hospital ER experience?</li><li>Do you have a current PA-C or ENP-C certification?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
