Supervises: N/A
Summary Statement: Under the general supervision of the Department Supervisor, the employee in this position facilitates work-flow throughout the department following all established work and safety procedures.
Essential Job Functions<ul><li>
Identify and stage raw materials as they arrive at the department, notifying the supervisor of any discrepancies.</li><li>
Maintain organization of raw materials to ensure efficient and correct distribution.</li><li>
Make and provide bar code labels.</li><li>
Maintain in-process inventory of all raw materials, notifying supervisor of any needs.</li><li>
Maintain an adequate supply of various raw materials per specifications.</li><li>
Facilitate workflow throughout the department by delivering appropriate raw materials to department personnel as needed.</li><li>
Assure cleanliness of the work area assuring products, boxes, trash, etc. are placed in the proper receptacles.</li></ul>
Marginal Job Functions<ul><li>
Assist other personnel as time and knowledge permit.</li><li>
Participate in training and meetings as requested.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Working Conditions<ul><li>
Must be able to stand and walk over a 10-hour period.</li><li>
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.</li><li>
Must be able to work both planned and unplanned overtime</li></ul>
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities<ul><li>
Must be able to read, write, and interpret instructions.</li><li>
Must have a basic working knowledge of computers.</li><li>
Must have good organizational skills.</li><li>
Must be able to comprehend and perform duties using established work and safety procedures.</li></ul>
Education and Work Experience<ul><li>
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.</li><li>
No previous experience required.</li></ul>
