POSITION: CSA Clinical Supervisor &ndash; LMHP-ESUPERVISOR: Clinical DirectorSUPERVISEE: N/APosition OverviewThe CSA Clinical Supervisor / Program Supervisor provides leadership, clinical oversight, and administrative management of CSA-funded services, including Intensive In-Home (IIH), Mental Health Skill-Building, and related community-based programs.This role ensures all services meet Virginia DBHDS, Medicaid, and CSA requirements, while maintaining high-quality, ethical, and effective service delivery. The supervisor supports staff development, ensures compliance, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for youth and families.DUTIES: Under the direction of the agency, Clinical Director, LMHP and within the limitations of agency policy, the incumbent shall execute the following duties:Clinical &amp; Administrative Supervision<ul><li>Provide weekly clinical supervision to QMHPs and direct service staff</li><li>Review and approve assessments, Individual Service Plans (ISPs), and discharge summaries</li><li>Ensure staff adherence to person-centered, trauma-informed care practices</li><li>Monitor staff productivity, service delivery, and performance outcomes</li></ul>CSA &amp; Systems Coordination<ul><li>Represent the agency in FAPT (Family Assessment and Planning Team) meetings</li><li>Collaborate with CSA coordinators, DSS workers, courts, and other stakeholders</li><li>Ensure services align with CSA policies, funding requirements, and service authorizations</li><li>Assist in service authorization requests and utilization reviews</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Quality Assurance<ul><li>Ensure documentation meets DBHDS, Medicaid, and CSA standards</li><li>Conduct regular chart audits and provide corrective feedback</li><li>Maintain compliance with human rights, confidentiality (HIPAA), and licensing regulations</li><li>Support audit readiness and participate in internal/external reviews</li></ul>Program Development &amp; Oversight<ul><li>Assist in development and expansion of CSA-related services</li><li>Monitor program outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives</li><li>Ensure appropriate staff-to-client ratios and service intensity levels</li><li>Participate in on-call rotation as required</li></ul>Staff Development &amp; Leadership<ul><li>Train, mentor, and support new and existing staff</li><li>Promote a culture of accountability, autonomy, and professional growth</li><li>Address performance concerns and implement corrective action plans when necessary</li><li>Facilitate team meetings and case staffing discussions</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related Human Services field</li><li>Active QMHP (Adult or Child) required; LMHP (or LMHP-eligible) strongly preferred</li><li>Minimum of 2&ndash;3 years clinical experience working with children and families</li><li>Minimum of 1&ndash;2 years supervisory or leadership experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of Virginia CSA, FAPT process, and DSS systems</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Licensed Mental Health Professional (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Resident in Supervision)</li><li>Experience with Intensive In-Home (IIH) or community-based services</li><li>Experience with Medicaid documentation and service authorization processes</li><li>Prior experience participating in court proceedings and multidisciplinary teams</li></ul>Core Competencies<ul><li>Strong clinical judgment and risk assessment skills</li><li>Advanced knowledge of trauma-informed care and family systems</li><li>Excellent leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills</li><li>High-level organization, documentation, and compliance oversight</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities<ul><li>Knowledge of:</li><li>Child and adolescent mental health disorders</li><li>Psychotropic medications</li><li>Human rights and client confidentiality regulations</li><li>Evidence-based interventions and service planning</li><li>Ability to:</li><li>Develop and oversee individualized, person-centered treatment plans</li><li>Build collaborative relationships with community partners</li><li>Analyze documentation for compliance and quality improvement</li><li>Lead teams with integrity, accountability, and professionalism</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 40 per weekEducation:<ul><li>Master's Degree</li></ul>Work Location: In personPay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Parental leave</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
