Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. In this vital role, you will coordinate and manage the movement of freight to ensure timely and efficient delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your analysis skills and logistical knowledge will drive operational success.Responsibilities<ul><li>Coordinate daily dispatch activities for freight and transportation services using transportation management systems such as Alvys &amp; DAT.</li><li>Utilize tracking tools to monitor vehicle locations, optimize routes, and improve delivery efficiency.</li><li>Manage drivers' hours of service to ensure DOT compliance.</li><li>Communicate effectively with drivers and brokers while maintaining professional e-mail/phone etiquette.</li><li>Oversee fleet management activities including vehicle dispatching, maintenance scheduling, and compliance with safety standards.</li><li>Assist with transportation planning by coordinating routes, load assignments, and delivery windows to meet customer expectations.</li><li>Collaborate with 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers to ensure seamless freight movement across various channels.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in dispatching within a logistics or transportation environment; familiarity with freight operations is highly preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of transportation management systems such as Alvys &amp; DAT.</li><li>Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data from multiple sources for decision-making purposes.</li><li>Proficiency in data entry.</li><li>Effective communication skills while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.</li><li>Familiarity with shipping &amp; receiving procedures along with transportation planning concepts.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekWork Location: Remote
