About This Opportunity:
<div>
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a fast-paced Fintech software engineering team. This role serves as a key liaison between Product Management and Engineering, driving clarity, alignment, and delivery of scalable financial technology solutions.</div><div></div><div><br>
In addition to core BA responsibilities, this role will actively facilitate Scrum ceremonies and support Agile best practices within a hybrid Scrum/Kanban environment. You will work closely with Product Managers and a cross-functional team that includes Architects, Tech Leads, Developers, QA/Automation Engineers, DevOps, Business Operations, and Production Support.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li><div>
Partner with Product Managers to understand Fintech product strategy, regulatory considerations, and customer needs.\</div></li><li><div>
Translate business requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria</div></li><li><div>
Ensure backlog items are prioritized, refined, and ready for development.</div></li><li><div>
Agile Facilitation &amp; Delivery</div></li><li><div>
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.</div></li><li><div>
Support a hybrid Agile model (Scrum + Kanban) to ensure efficient workflow and continuous delivery.</div></li><li><div>
Remove blockers and promote team alignment and accountability.</div></li><li><div>
Able to quickly adjust and support changing priorities per business needs.</div></li><li><div>
Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements, including compliance and security considerations relevant to Fintech.</div></li><li><div>
Develop process flows, data mappings, system interaction diagrams, and basic wireframes where needed.</div></li><li><div>
Manage individual release contents contributing to the management of the overall development roadmap.</div></li><li><div>
Analyze APIs and integrations; support testing and validation efforts.</div></li><li><div>
Act as the primary interface between Product and Engineering teams.</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with Architects and Tech Leads to ensure requirements align with system design and technical feasibility.</div></li><li><div>
Partner with QA/Automation teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.</div></li><li><div>
Work with DevOps and Production Support teams to ensure smooth releases and incident resolution.</div></li><li><div>
Use tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira for backlog management and tracking.</div></li><li><div>
Utilize Postman (basic level) to test APIs and validate endpoints as needed.</div></li><li><div>
Maintain clear documentation in Confluence or similar platforms.</div></li><li><div>
Create low-fidelity wireframes or mockups to clarify requirements when necessary</div></li><li><div>
Communicate effectively across geographically distributed teams.</div></li><li><div>
Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and dependencies.</div></li><li><div>
Facilitate stakeholder demos and feedback sessions.</div></li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software engineering environment, preferably within Fintech or financial services.</li><li><div>
Strong experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid).</div></li><li><div>
Hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies.</div></li><li><div>
Excellent skills in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.</div></li><li><div>
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.</div></li><li><div>
Experience working with distributed/global teams</div></li></ul><div>
Preferred Qualifications</div><ul><li>
Scrum Master Certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is strongly preferred.</li><li>
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jira.</li><li>
Experience with wireframing tools such as Balsamiq (or similar) to create mockups and visual requirements.</li><li>
Understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, and system integrations.</li><li>
Basic experience using Postman for API testing.</li><li>
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices</li><li>
Basic understanding of Oracle SQL for querying and validating data.</li></ul><div></div><div><i><br>
