Graphic Designer Prepress / Print Production position plays a vital role in preparing print-ready files and ensuring the smooth flow of jobs through the production process. Working independently, this position follows established procedures and collaborates with multiple departments to keep projects on time and production-ready.**Rate of Pay is $20-$25 Hourly Depending on Experience; Unqualified Inexperienced Applicants Need Not Apply**If you&rsquo;re detail-oriented, technically skilled, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply!*Your attention to detail will be noted if you apply without the required skills and your application will be rejected*BENEFITS<ul><li>Paid Time Off after 12 months (Sick time starts to accrue day one)</li><li>Option to join Medical, Dental &amp; Vision Insurance</li><li>7 Paid Holidays</li></ul>RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Keep jobs flowing through the shop: feed work down to finishing department</li><li>Oversee and reply to emails in a timely manner</li><li>Assist customers coming through the front door</li><li>Answer multi-line phones</li><li>Receive cash/check/card payments on point of sale</li><li>Work closely with customers through design &amp; proofing process through email, phone and in person</li><li>Prepare files for final print for digital press, offset press and wide format graphics</li><li>Work with Variable Data Printing (Data Merge)</li><li>Write up job tickets</li><li>Quality control proofs and final print during and after the job is complete</li><li>Make service calls when machine(s) go down</li><li>Maintain a high level of fast, accurate and quality-assured work</li><li>We're a small shop!
