We are looking for an Operations Manager based in Mumbai to oversee daily operations between our New York headquarters and our manufacturing facility in Bombay. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the jewelry production process, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel. This role involves managing a small local team, coordinating with vendors and production staff, and ensuring smooth execution of all orders and timelines.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Serve as the primary liaison between the New York office and the Bombay factory.</li><li>Oversee and track jewelry production, casting, assembly, and QC stages to ensure on-time delivery.</li><li>Manage and support a team of 2&ndash;3 people across operations and logistics.</li><li>Maintain detailed reports and trackers using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.</li><li>Coordinate daily with the production unit for work status, timelines, and issue resolution.</li><li>Communicate updates, progress reports, and challenges clearly to the New York office.</li><li>Assist in vendor coordination, material procurement, and shipment scheduling.</li><li>Occasionally visit the factory to oversee operations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain workflow efficiency.</li><li>Implement and optimize internal processes to improve productivity and quality control.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>2&ndash;5 years of experience in operations, production, or supply chain management (jewelry industry preferred).</li><li>Basic jewelry knowledge (understanding of casting, assembly, polishing, or stone setting).</li><li>Strong Excel skills</li><li>Excellent communication skills &mdash; comfortable working across time zones and teams.</li><li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver.</li><li>Based in or near Mumbai, with flexibility for occasional travel to the factory.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBase Pay: &#8377;50,000.00 - &#8377;100,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mumbai, Maharashtra
