Overview We are seeking a passionate and creative Junior Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in architectural design and a keen eye for detail. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects while collaborating with experienced professionals in the field. As a Junior Architect, you will assist in the design and execution of architectural projects, contributing to all phases from conception through to completion.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist in the development of architectural designs and plans using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ArchiCAD.</li><li>Collaborate with senior architects and project managers to ensure project requirements are met effectively.</li><li>Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction projects, including joinery details.</li><li>Participate in project management activities, including scheduling and coordinating with contractors and clients.</li><li>Utilise software tools such as NavisWorks, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite for visualisation and presentation purposes.</li><li>Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.</li><li>Engage in negotiations with suppliers and contractors to secure the best materials and services for projects.</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design quality.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>A degree in Architecture or a related field is essential.</li><li>Proficiency in architectural software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Grasshopper 3D, and Rhinoceros 3D is required.</li><li>Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for graphic presentations is advantageous.</li><li>Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles is preferred.</li><li>Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate with clients and contractors.</li><li>A creative mindset with the ability to think critically about design challenges.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.</li><li>Previous internship or work experience in an architectural setting is desirable but not mandatory.
