Approval Draftsman/Draftswoman

An Approval Draftsman / Draftswoman of 1 Year experience creates technical drawings for buildings, infrastructure, or machinery, specifically ensuring these plans meet regulatory standards (like DTCP, municipality) for official approval, often working with civil engineers on construction plans, modifications, and compliance checks using software like AutoCAD. They are skilled in converting sketches and data into detailed, buildable blueprints for construction projects, focusing on accuracy for legal and construction purposes.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Drawing Creation: Preparing detailed architectural, civil, and structural drawings from sketches, notes, or data.
• Software Proficiency: Using CAD software (like AutoCAD) for 2D modeling.
• Compliance: Ensuring drawings adhere to building codes, local regulations (e.g., town planning), and safety standards.
• Collaboration: Working with engineers, architects, and project managers.
• Space Planning: Optimizing layouts for functionality and efficiency.
• Revision: Making necessary changes based on feedback from authorities or project teams.
