Operations ManagerLocation: Sandy Springs, GA FLSA Classification: Exempt (Salaried)ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking an experienced and highly capable Operations Manager to lead and optimize multi-department operations in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This role requires a leader who excels in data-driven decision-making, operational forecasting, problem resolution, and process optimization&mdash;while managing multiple teams and maintaining strong availability for staff.The ideal candidate is someone who operates with high independence, demonstrates excellent judgment, and consistently delivers tangible outcomes with minimal oversight. This is a role for someone who thrives on complexity, identifies risks early, and navigates growth with confidence and clarity.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Leadership &amp; Multi-Department Oversight<ul><li>Lead daily operations across several departments simultaneously, ensuring consistent performance, communication, and workflow execution.</li><li>Manage and support multiple employees and leads, providing coaching, accountability, and performance development.</li><li>Maintain approachability and availability for staff while balancing execution of personal operational responsibilities.</li></ul>Data-Driven Decision Making<ul><li>Analyze detailed operational, financial, and staffing reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.</li><li>Use data insights to make informed business decisions, drive performance improvements, and adjust workflow strategies.</li><li>Create volume and capacity forecasts to support staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.</li></ul>Operational &amp; Workforce Management<ul><li>Oversee employee scheduling, shift assignments, PTO coordination, and coverage planning based on volume projections.</li><li>Anticipate staffing needs, recommend hiring decisions, and support onboarding of new team members.</li><li>Demonstrate flexibility to work extended or longer days when operations demand additional oversight or troubleshooting.</li></ul>Problem Resolution &amp; Risk Management<ul><li>Take ownership of operational challenges, using analytical and critical-thinking skills to diagnose root causes.</li><li>Implement effective, timely solutions that prevent recurrence and strengthen operational stability.</li><li>Escalate appropriately but sparingly&mdash;demonstrating independence, sound judgment, and the ability to resolve most issues autonomously.</li></ul>Process Optimization &amp; SOP Governance<ul><li>Evaluate existing workflows and identify gaps in efficiency, communication, or performance.</li><li>Develop and refine SOPs and implement standardized processes across all departments.</li><li>Ensure consistency, compliance, and operational excellence as the organization grows.</li></ul>Billing, Pharmacy, &amp; Administrative Coordination<ul><li>Partner with billing and accounts receivable teams to support documentation accuracy, reconciliations, and performance metrics.</li><li>Oversee pharmacy coordination, including medication inventory management, billing workflows, and process audits.</li><li>Manage month-end closing tasks, reporting outputs, and operational summaries for leadership.</li></ul>Change Management &amp; Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>Lead teams through operational changes, ensuring understanding, alignment, and adoption across departments.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure goals are aligned and barriers are quickly removed.</li><li>Support organizational initiatives with resilience, adaptability, and strong communication.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONSRequired<ul><li>Strongly preferred minimum of 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in operations, healthcare support, contact centers, billing, or a similar environment.</li><li>Proven track record of achieving measurable, tangible results through leadership and process improvements.</li><li>Strong capability in analyzing operational and financial data and making strategic business decisions based on those insights.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to operate independently with minimal oversight, while maintaining strong communication with leadership.</li><li>Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose root causes and create effective, sustainable solutions.</li><li>Strong time management and prioritization skills&mdash;able to juggle multi-department oversight, personal tasks, and staff availability.</li><li>High proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology platforms used for reporting, scheduling, and workflow management.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of coaching, motivating, and influencing others.</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Experience managing multi-site or multi-function operations.</li><li>Background in healthcare operations, pharmacy management, or billing coordination.</li><li>Experience developing SOPs and leading operational change initiatives.</li><li>Strong emotional intelligence and conflict resolution abilities.</li></ul>CORE SUCCESS TRAITSA strong Operations Manager will demonstrate:<ul><li>High ownership mentality &mdash;
