Committed to sustainability, community engagement, and continuous improvement, we strive to create a cleaner and more sustainable future for the communities we serve.Job Overview This is a key position that will support the daily operations of both the Moscow Recycling Center and Inland North Waste. This role is responsible for maintaining 24-hour drop-off areas, ensuring site cleanliness, operating equipment safely, and providing excellent customer service.Schedule Friday through Tuesday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pmDuties<ul><li>Maintain 24-hour recycling and yard waste drop-off areas while keeping the site clean and free of debris</li><li>Ensure proper operation of equipment by performing pre and post-trip reports; keeping equipment clean, maintained, and stored in a safe manner; and immediately reporting any equipment or mechanical failures to the supervisor</li><li>Comply with OSHA, SDS standards, and company safety procedures, local, state, and federal regulations</li><li>Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform requirements</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by creating and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers</li><li>Basic understanding and ability to operate computer programs</li><li>Model all relevant company policies and procedures while managing a variable workload</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Valid driver's license</li><li>Demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently complete tasks</li><li>Ability to work various shifts, hours, and days depending on workload</li><li>Strong written/verbal communication skills and strong documentation skills</li><li>Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities while working cooperatively in a team environment.</li><li>Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards</li><li>Keen attention to detail and situational awareness to maintain the safety of the work environment</li><li>Read, understand, follow and enforce safety procedures</li><li>Background check results satisfactory to INW</li><li>Negative drug test result(s)</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>1 year forklift experience</li><li>1 Year skid steer experience</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Lift and maneuver 50 pounds frequently</li><li>Ability to ascend and descend ladders</li><li>Lift, push, pull, bend, reach, twist, stoop, etc.</li><li>Must be able to work in noise, dust, and all weather conditions</li><li>Stand for at least 8 hours</li></ul>Other DutiesThis job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of responsibilities required for this job.
