Job Overview
This is a key position that will support the daily operations of both the Moscow Recycling Center and Inland North Waste. This role is responsible for maintaining 24-hour drop-off areas, ensuring site cleanliness, operating equipment safely, and providing excellent customer service.

Schedule
Friday through Tuesday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Duties

• Maintain 24-hour recycling and yard waste drop-off areas while keeping the site clean and free of debris
• Ensure proper operation of equipment by performing pre and post-trip reports; keeping equipment clean, maintained, and stored in a safe manner; and immediately reporting any equipment or mechanical failures to the supervisor
• Comply with OSHA, SDS standards, and company safety procedures, local, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service by creating and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers
• Basic understanding and ability to operate computer programs
• Model all relevant company policies and procedures while managing a variable workload

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently complete tasks
• Ability to work various shifts, hours, and days depending on workload
• Strong written/verbal communication skills and strong documentation skills
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities while working cooperatively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards
• Keen attention to detail and situational awareness to maintain the safety of the work environment
• Read, understand, follow and enforce safety procedures
• Background check results satisfactory to INW
• Negative drug test result(s)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year forklift experience
• 1 Year skid steer experience

Physical Requirements

• Lift and maneuver 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders
• Lift, push, pull, bend, reach, twist, stoop, etc.
• Must be able to work in noise, dust, and all weather conditions
• Stand for at least 8 hours
