Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and reliable Medical Assistant to join our urology medical office. Under the supervision of a licensed provider, the Medical Assistant will support clinical operations, assist with urologic patient care, and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient medical office environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Room and prepare patients; verify patient information and document reason for visit</li><li>Assist providers with urology exams and procedures within scope of practice</li><li>Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, injections, specimen collection, catheter care/changes, and urinalysis</li><li>Collect and process lab specimens in compliance with CLIA standards</li><li>Document patient care and charges in the EMR</li><li>Contact patients with lab and pathology results as directed</li><li>Process prescription refill requests per office protocol</li><li>Clean, stock, and disinfect exam rooms and medical equipment</li><li>Answer phones and provide professional, courteous customer service</li><li>Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, PPE, and safety standards</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required</li><li>Medical office experience preferred; urology experience a plus</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology and sterile technique</li><li>Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Proficient with EMR systems and basic computer skills</li><li>Clear, professional phone and in-person communication</li><li>Bilingual a plus, not required</li></ul>Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
