About Innova IndustriesInnova Industries is a Houston-based company specializing in the resale and leasing of intermodal equipment, including ISO tanks, tank chassis, and container chassis. We operate in a fast-moving logistics environment and are looking for a detail-oriented financial professional to help us stay on top of our books as we grow.The RoleWe're looking for an experienced bookkeeper/accountant on a contract or freelance basis to handle both our day-to-day financial operations and higher-level reporting. This is a hybrid position &mdash; while you will be able to work remotely, you will also need to be available to work on-site during standard business hours at least part of the week. Hours will vary depending on workload, generally ranging from 10 to 20 hours per week.What You'll Do<ul><li>Record and categorize transactions, invoices, and payments</li><li>Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis</li><li>Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable</li><li>Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports (P&amp;L, balance sheet, cash flow)</li><li>Track equipment sales and lease revenue</li><li>Assist with tax preparation and coordination with our CPA</li><li>Identify and flag any discrepancies or financial irregularities</li></ul>What We're Looking For<ul><li>2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience</li><li>Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) or similar accounting software</li><li>Strong understanding of AR/AP, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting</li><li>Available to work on-site in Houston during standard business hours at least part of the week</li><li>Experience in equipment sales, leasing, logistics, or a related industry is a plus</li><li>Highly organized, self-directed, and reliable with deadlines</li></ul>Nice to Have<ul><li>Familiarity with intermodal equipment or freight industries</li><li>Experience supporting a small business with multiple revenue streams</li></ul>Engagement Details<ul><li>Contract / Freelance | Hybrid (Houston, TX)</li><li>Estimated hours: 10&ndash;20 hours per week (varies by workload)</li><li>In-person requirement: At least 50% on-site</li><li>Compensation: Based on experience</li></ul>To ApplyPlease send your resume, a brief note about your relevant experience, and your expected hourly rate to info@innovaindustries.com.Pay: $35.00 per hourWork Location: Hybrid remote in Houston, TX 77008
