Who you are:You&rsquo;re a responsible, reliable, and fun individual with the ability to manage kids ages 4 through 12, interested in keeping kids active and introducing them to the sport of climbing while managing risks. You love working with kids and can manage groups and individuals.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Instruct youth programs including recreational after-school and weekend programs and seasonal camps.</li><li>Engage in youth behavior management and re-direction in a positive manner.</li><li>Communicate effectively with kids, parents, co-workers, and gym members.</li><li>Be a positive ambassador of Insight&rsquo;s Youth Programs to the wider community.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Enjoys working with youth</li><li>Prior experience working with youth desired (babysitting, mentoring, youth camps, youth sports, etc.).</li><li>Good verbal communication skills</li><li>Climbing experience is great, but not required!</li></ul>Expected hours:2-5 hours/week during school weeks, 10+ hours during school-break camp weeksJob Type: Part-timePay: $17.30 - $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
