Youth Program Staff

Who you are:

You’re a responsible, reliable, and fun individual with the ability to manage kids ages 4 through 12, interested in keeping kids active and introducing them to the sport of climbing while managing risks. You love working with kids and can manage groups and individuals.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct youth programs including recreational after-school and weekend programs and seasonal camps.
• Engage in youth behavior management and re-direction in a positive manner.
• Communicate effectively with kids, parents, co-workers, and gym members.
• Be a positive ambassador of Insight’s Youth Programs to the wider community.

Qualifications:

• Enjoys working with youth
• Prior experience working with youth desired (babysitting, mentoring, youth camps, youth sports, etc.).
• Good verbal communication skills
• Climbing experience is great, but not required!

Expected hours:

2-5 hours/week during school weeks, 10+ hours during school-break camp weeks

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.30 - $18.00 per hour
