As a Tennis Camp Counselor, you will lead energetic tennis activities, support children’s development, and create memorable summer experiences. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise tennis drills, games, and activities tailored to various age groups and skill levels.
• Ensure the safety of all campers by enforcing rules and maintaining a secure environment during all camp activities.
• Provide guidance and support to children, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence.
• Assist with classroom management during instructional sessions or workshops related to sports and personal development.
• Support campers’ emotional well-being through positive reinforcement, and behavior management techniques.
• Collaborate with fellow counselors to plan engaging daily schedules that balance physical activity with creative and educational pursuits.
• Maintain open communication with parents and camp staff regarding camper progress, needs, or concerns.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, babysitting, or camp environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of tennis coaching techniques or sports coaching experience is advantageous.
• Certifications in first aid and CPR are required.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children of all backgrounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels throughout the day.
