About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Remote QuickBooks Bookkeeper to manage financial records for multiple clients in the real estate and short-term rental industry.This role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing bookkeeping for multiple accounts simultaneously. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and able to work independently while maintaining accuracy across financial records.If you enjoy bringing structure, clarity, and organization to financial data, this role could be a great fit.Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping<ul><li>Maintain accurate financial records for multiple client accounts</li><li>Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable</li><li>Record and categorize financial transactions in QuickBooks</li><li>Perform bank and credit card reconciliations</li><li>Track and categorize property expenses and vendor payments</li><li>Prepare monthly financial statements and reports - QBO and other STR centered programs</li><li>Identify discrepancies and resolve financial inconsistencies</li><li>Maintain organized records for tax preparation and reporting</li></ul>Administrative &amp; Client Support<ul><li>Communicate with clients regarding financial reports or documentation</li><li>Maintain organized digital financial files</li><li>Assist with operational or administrative tasks related to financial management</li><li>Ensure client deliverables and reports are completed on time</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>3+ years bookkeeping experience</li><li>Strong proficiency in QuickBooks</li><li>Experience performing bank reconciliations and financial reporting</li><li>Experience managing multiple clients or companies</li><li>Excellent attention to detail</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to work independently in a remote environment</li><li>Excellent written communication skills</li><li>Ability to Learn and execute new programs</li></ul>Preferred ExperienceCandidates with the following experience will stand out:<ul><li>Real estate or short-term rental accounting</li><li>Property management financial workflows</li><li>Experience with platforms such as:</li><li>OwnerRez</li><li>Guesty</li><li>Hospitable</li><li>Keeper</li><li>Other STR management tools</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Paid Time Off (PTO)</li><li>Paid Vacation</li><li>Bonus opportunities</li><li>Fully remote position</li><li>Opportunity to grow with an expanding company</li></ul>Application InstructionsTo be considered, please include the following in your cover letter w/ resume:<ul><li>How many years of QuickBooks experience do you have?</li><li>Have you managed bookkeeping for multiple companies or clients simultaneously?</li><li>Describe your process for reconciling a bank account in QuickBooks.</li><li>Describe your process for auditing financials. </li><li>Do you have experience with real estate or short-term rental accounting?</li><li>Are you comfortable working independently in a fully remote role?</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hourSupplemental Pay:<ul><li>Bonus opportunities</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Bookkeeping: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in New Braunfels, TX 78132
