This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small business environment, can work independently, and has experience managing accounting processes with precision.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable</li><li>Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly</li><li>Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments</li><li>Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal contract accounting requirements</li><li>Support budgeting and cost tracking for government-funded projects</li><li>Maintain and organize financial documentation for audits and reviews</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Proven bookkeeping or accounting experience (3+ years )</li><li>Minimum of 3 years: hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite</li><li>Familiarity with federal contracting regulations and reporting standards</li><li>Strong understanding of basic accounting principles</li><li>High level of accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software</li><li>Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines independently</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience working with engineering, construction, or technical firms</li><li>Knowledge of DCAA compliance standards</li><li>Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field</li></ul>How to Apply:<ul><li>Please email your resume or letter of interest in a 1099 business relationship along with a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and availability.
