This is a unique opportunity to shape the architecture, set the technical direction, and grow into a senior leadership role as the company scales.We&rsquo;re seeking a builder who loves tackling challenges end-to-end, thrives in high-ownership environments, and brings a passion for scalable systems, AI integration, and modern development practices.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Co-lead the Platform Build: Drive the development of a secure, scalable, and high-performing full-stack application starting from zero.</li><li>Set the Tech Stack: Select and implement a future-ready stack (e.g., React, Next.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, Azure).</li><li>Backend Engineering: Build robust REST APIs, data models, middleware, and security layers using Node.js, NestJS, and Redis.</li><li>Frontend Development: Deliver responsive, accessible UIs with React, Redux Toolkit, Tailwind CSS, and component-driven architecture.</li><li>AI &amp; Real-Time Features: Integrate AI capabilities (LLMs, NLP) and real-time functionality (WebSockets or equivalent).</li><li>DevOps &amp; Cloud: Manage deployments on Azure (or AWS/GCP), implement CI/CD pipelines, and set up monitoring and alerts.</li><li>Security &amp; Access Control: Design RBAC, authentication/authorization flows, and caching strategies.</li><li>Collaboration: Partner closely with the founder to align tech decisions with business goals, and later help build and mentor the engineering team.</li><li>Documentation &amp; Best Practices: Maintain strong documentation, coding standards, and team readiness.</li></ul>What Makes You a Great Fit<ul><li>Hands-On Builder: You&rsquo;ve built full-stack systems independently and thrive in fast-paced environments.</li><li>Architectural Thinker: You make strong technical decisions, plan for scale, and communicate trade-offs clearly.</li><li>AI-Curious: You have experience or genuine interest in LLMs, NLP, or real-time systems.</li><li>Security-Minded: You take RBAC, token management, and endpoint protection seriously.</li><li>Ownership Mentality: You proactively spot gaps and solve them without waiting for direction.</li><li>Strong Communicator: You collaborate effectively in remote-first teams and explain complex ideas clearly.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>Full Stack Experience: 4+ years, ideally in startups or high-ownership roles.</li><li>Communication: Must have strong English communication skills both in verbal and written</li><li>Frontend: React, Redux Toolkit, Next.js, Tailwind CSS.</li><li>Backend: Node.js, NestJS, REST API development, Express.js.</li><li>Databases: PostgreSQL, Prisma, MongoDB, Redis (for caching).</li><li>Security: RBAC, JWT/OAuth flows, endpoint protection.</li><li>DevOps: Deployments with Azure, CI/CD with GitHub Actions or CircleCI.</li><li>Real-Time Apps: WebSockets (e.g., Socket.io) or similar.</li><li>AI/NLP/LLMs: Practical exposure or strong interest in applied use cases (chatbots, summarization, etc.).</li><li>Architecture: Microservices, modular systems, scalable infrastructures.</li><li>Collaboration Tools: GitHub, Notion, Slack, Zoom.</li></ul>A Typical Day Might Involve&hellip;<ul><li>Reviewing tasks in GitHub or Notion.</li><li>Coding backend APIs, frontend components, or DevOps pipelines.</li><li>Implementing an AI-powered chat module or real-time update flow.</li><li>Optimizing database queries or refining RBAC flows.</li><li>Deploying services to the cloud and monitoring performance.</li><li>Syncing with the founder to prioritize next steps and share architectural insights.</li><li>Every day is high-impact and hands-on&mdash;you&rsquo;ll be laying the foundation of a platform that will scale with the company.</li></ul>Interview Process<ul><li>Intro Call &ndash; Quick conversation about goals and experience.</li><li>Technical Deep Dive &ndash; Walkthrough of your past projects and approach to scalable systems.</li><li>Live Coding / Take-Home &ndash; Demonstrate your technical depth and thought process.</li><li>Founder Interview &ndash; Discuss product vision, leadership role, and long-term fit.</li><li>References &amp; Background Check &ndash; Quick verification step..</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
