As an SME, you will ensure high academic quality and consistency across our tutoring and educational offerings. You will oversee tutor onboarding, content validation, quality assurance, curriculum innovation, and cross-functional coordination &mdash; all aimed at delivering a superior learning experience to students.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Tutor Evaluation &amp; Onboarding:</li><li>Conduct subject-knowledge interviews and assess conceptual clarity, teaching skills, and communication.</li><li>Evaluate demo teaching sessions and provide structured feedback before onboarding tutors.</li><li>Develop and maintain standardized evaluation rubrics and assessment frameworks.</li><li>Academic Quality Assurance:</li><li>Review and validate lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning materials.</li><li>Ensure curriculum aligns with internal standards, learning outcomes, and grade-level expectations.</li><li>Periodically audit tutoring sessions and suggest improvements.</li><li>Tutor Development &amp; Training:</li><li>Design and deliver training sessions and induction modules for new tutors.</li><li>Facilitate ongoing professional development via refresher courses, workshops, and peer-learning sessions.</li><li>Coach tutors on effective classroom management, student engagement, and structured lesson delivery.</li><li>Academic Support &amp; Student Success:</li><li>Provide academic guidance to tutors and support personalized learning plans for students.</li><li>Analyze student performance and recommend remediation strategies when needed.</li><li>Participate in student-review meetings to track progress and outcomes.</li><li>Curriculum &amp; Content Innovation:</li><li>Identify curriculum gaps and create new courses or programs to enhance academic offerings.</li><li>Collaborate with content/product teams to build engaging digital learning materials.</li><li>Introduce modern pedagogical tools, methodologies, and structured learning paths.</li><li>Cross-functional Collaboration:</li><li>Work closely with Training, Quality Control, Academic Operations, Content, and Support teams.</li><li>Communicate academic updates, syllabus changes, and policy modifications to tutors.</li><li>Contribute to strategic plans for subject expansion, curriculum improvements, and new academic initiatives.</li><li>Performance Monitoring &amp; Reporting:</li><li>Track key tutor performance metrics: session quality, attendance, student feedback, academic outcomes.</li><li>Prepare audit reports, improvement plans, and training recommendations.</li><li>Maintain academic documentation &mdash; SOPs, guidelines, manuals, and quality logs.</li></ul>Required Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Strong subject-matter expertise (relevant academic domain)</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills</li><li>Experience in curriculum design, quality assurance, tutoring or training</li><li>Ability to evaluate teaching quality and give constructive feedback</li><li>Organization and documentation skills &mdash; comfortable maintaining SOPs and reports</li><li>Collaborative mindset &mdash; able to work across multiple teams</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Prior experience in e-learning, online tutoring, or academic content development</li><li>Experience mentoring/train&shy;ing educators or tutors</li><li>Familiarity with digital learning tools and modern teaching methodologies</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Opportunity to shape academic quality and curriculum at a fast-growing edtech company</li><li>Collaborative work environment and chance to mentor/train tutors</li><li>Dynamic role with scope for content innovation and strategic academic impact</li><li>Professional growth and meaningful contribution to student success</li></ul>How to Apply: Please submit your resume along with a short cover letter explaining your subject-expertise, teaching/training background, and why you are a good fit for this SME role.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Provident Fund</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Work Location: In person
