Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Diagnosis and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough examinations to diagnose complex dental conditions and create comprehensive treatment plans. They often lead a team of other dental specialists to provide a coordinated approach to patient care.</li><li>Prosthetic Design and Fabrication: Design, fabricate, and fit various dental prosthetics. This includes crowns, bridges, dentures (full and partial), and veneers. They often supervise the work of dental laboratory technicians.</li><li>Dental Implants: Specialize in placing and restoring dental implants, which are artificial tooth roots used to support replacement teeth.</li><li>Aesthetics and Rehabilitation: Restore the function and appearance of smiles, often for patients who have suffered traumatic injuries, birth defects, or diseases.
