Embrace a fast-paced environment that values innovation, continuous learning, and exceptional patient service.Duties<ul><li>Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine health status.</li><li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams.</li><li>Perform procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, and sterile processing with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.</li><li>Manage acute pain cases, assist with complex diagnoses in gastroenterology, infectious disease care, or emergency medicine scenarios.</li><li>Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records.</li><li>Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care while maintaining HIPAA compliance.</li><li>Engage in clinical research projects, contribute to case management efforts, and support discharge planning for diverse patient populations including hospice &amp; palliative medicine, senior care, or pediatric cases.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in your state or jurisdiction.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I Trauma Center settings.</li><li>Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth platforms.</li><li>Hands-on experience with procedures like botulinum toxin treatment, dermal fillers, spinal taps, or sonography is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding standards for accurate documentation and billing.</li><li>Background working in outpatient clinics, hospital medicine units, emergency rooms, or urgent care facilities.</li><li>Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to manage complex cases involving acute pain management or infectious disease care.</li><li>Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics (including neonatal ventilators), geriatrics (memory care), individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities.
