<div>POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the HR Services Manager, the Human Resources Service Specialist I is responsible for processing routine transactions and responding to standard employee inquiries. The Human Resources Service Specialist I serves as the first point of contact for employees seeking HR support and plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of HR data and processes to address and triage inquiries.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
<ul>
<li>Respond to employee inquiries promptly and accurately via the Helix system, providing clear and concise information.</li>
<li>Escalate complex or specialized inquiries to the appropriate centralized specialist team for further resolution.</li>
<li>Process transactions related to employee personal data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Manage the end-to-end process for contingent worker creation, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR policies and procedures to provide accurate guidance to employees.</li>
<li>Collaborate with HR team members to continuously improve the service delivery model and enhance the employee experience.</li>
<li>Document all inquiries and transactions accurately in the HR system to ensure reliable data for reporting and analysis.</li>
</ul>
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Essential:
<ul>
<li>Up to 2 years of experience using HR systems for administration, HR Operations, case management, or similar responsibilities.</li>
<li>Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.</li>
<li>Proficiency in using HR Information Systems and case management tools.</li>
<li>Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and speed.</li>
<li>Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Familiarity with HR processes and best practices, particularly within a shared services context.</li>
</ul>
Desirable:
<ul>
<li>Experience in a shared service center or customer support role, preferably within an HR function.</li>
<li>Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately.</li>
<li>Good communication skills, capable of explaining HR processes and policies clearly to employees.</li>
<li>A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.</li>
<li>Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes within the HR field.</li>
