Irving Properties is seeking a Summer Intern with an upbeat attitude to join our team in Uptown!Essential Functions:<ul><li>Assist with day-to-day operations.</li><li>Answer phone calls and set up showings.</li><li>Corresponds with interested residents, current residents, and vendors.</li><li>Manage the social media accounts including Craigslist, Zillow and more.</li><li>Leases and shows apartments.</li><li>Implements advertising for available apartments.</li><li>Coordinates apartment turnovers at beginning and end of each month.</li><li>Partners with maintenance team to ensure well-maintained properties.</li><li>Respond to building emergencies during work hours and after.</li></ul>Qualifications:Ideal candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented individual who works well both independently and on a small team. Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be able to work some weekends for turnovers. Candidate must be friendly and enjoy working with a close-knit group of people&mdash;this is a family company.Required Education and Experience:<ul><li>Working proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Rent Manager experience preferred)</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with reliable, insured vehicle and safe DMV driving record.</li><li>Must pass background check for employment.</li><li>Neat, clean, and professional appearance and attitude</li><li>Good communication skills, both written and verbal</li></ul>Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hourExpected hours: 40.0 per weekWork Location: In person
