Summer Internship Leasing Agent

Irving Properties is seeking a Summer Intern with an upbeat attitude to join our team in Uptown!

Essential Functions:

• Assist with day-to-day operations.
• Answer phone calls and set up showings.
• Corresponds with interested residents, current residents, and vendors.
• Manage the social media accounts including Craigslist, Zillow and more.
• Leases and shows apartments.
• Implements advertising for available apartments.
• Coordinates apartment turnovers at beginning and end of each month.
• Partners with maintenance team to ensure well-maintained properties.
• Respond to building emergencies during work hours and after.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented individual who works well both independently and on a small team. Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be able to work some weekends for turnovers. Candidate must be friendly and enjoy working with a close-knit group of people—this is a family company.

Required Education and Experience:

• Working proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Rent Manager experience preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with reliable, insured vehicle and safe DMV driving record.
• Must pass background check for employment.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance and attitude
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
