This is a fast-moving role ideal for someone who thrives in a team setting and enjoys engaging with people.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Warmly greet guests and take orders with accuracy and a smile</li><li>Operate the cash register and Aloha POS system to process orders and payments</li><li>Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment</li><li>Keep dining areas, counters, and workstations clean and organized</li><li>Assist with food prep and service during busy hours, upholding quick-service standards</li><li>Respond to guest questions or concerns promptly and professionally</li><li>Perform accurate retail math for cash handling and transactions</li><li>Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service flow, especially during peak times</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Experience using POS systems</li><li>Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude</li><li>Ability to handle high-volume service with grace and accuracy</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling and change-making</li><li>Previous experience in a quick-service, fast-casual, or counter-service restaurant preferred</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean and welcoming space</li></ul>Why Join Island House?
