Job Description: Assistant PhysiotherapistPosition Title: Assistant PhysiotherapistDepartment: Physiotherapy &amp; RehabilitationReporting To: Senior Physiotherapist / Rehabilitation In-chargePosition Overview:The Assistant Physiotherapist plays a key role in supporting physiotherapy services by assisting in patient assessment, treatment execution, and rehabilitation programs under the supervision of a licensed Physiotherapist. The position focuses on delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care to enhance recovery, mobility, and quality of life.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist in assessing patients&rsquo; physical conditions and functional limitations as directed by the Physiotherapist</li><li>Support the delivery of physiotherapy treatments including exercise therapy, electrotherapy, manual assistance, and rehabilitation procedures</li><li>Provide bedside physiotherapy support for IPD, ICU, post-operative, and orthopaedic patients as required</li><li>Closely monitor patient response during therapy sessions and immediately report any discomfort or adverse reactions</li><li>Guide patients in performing prescribed exercises correctly and safely</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress</li><li>Prepare, operate, and maintain physiotherapy equipment ensuring safety and hygiene standards</li><li>Ensure compliance with NABH protocols, infection control policies, and patient safety guidelines</li><li>Educate patients and attendants on home exercise programs, posture care, and mobility precautions</li><li>Coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Educational Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Physiotherapy (DPT / BPT)</li><li>Experience: 0&ndash;1 years (Freshers with strong clinical skills may be considered)</li><li>Registration: Valid State Physiotherapy Council registration preferred</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Strong understanding of physiotherapy principles and rehabilitation techniques</li><li>Excellent patient-handling and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work efficiently under supervision and in multidisciplinary teams</li><li>Compassionate, ethical, and patient-centric approach</li><li>Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting</li></ul>Work Environment &amp; Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Hospital, rehabilitation unit, or physiotherapy clinic</li><li>Requires standing, assisting patient mobility, and physical endurance</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: ₹8,531.70 - ₹15,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
