Pet Care Operations Support &ndash; Grooming &amp; Social (W-2 After Onboarding)Position SummaryThe Pet Care Operations Support &ndash; Grooming &amp; Social role is a hybrid, hands-on position designed for individuals who enjoy working directly with dogs while also supporting social engagement, client communication, and light operational tasks. This position plays a key role in supporting daily mobile grooming operations and representing the Bubbles &amp; Beyond brand both in-person and online.This role is not a groomer position and not a full-time marketing or influencer role. It is an entry-to-intermediate support role with clear expectations, structured onboarding, and opportunities for growth.Employment Classification<ul><li>Introductory Period: Minimum 30-day onboarding and training period</li><li>Employment Status After Onboarding: W-2 Employee</li><li>Hours: Up to 40 hours per week</li><li>Schedule: Varies based on operational needs (van days, admin/support days)</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>$18&ndash;$21 per hour, based on experience</li><li>Performance-based raises may be considered after the onboarding period</li><li>Opportunity for expanded responsibilities and advancement over time</li></ul>Core ResponsibilitiesGrooming &amp; Pet Care Support<ul><li>Assist groomers in the mobile grooming van with bathing, drying, preparation, and cleanup</li><li>Handle dogs safely, calmly, and compassionately at all times</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming tools, equipment, and van workspace</li><li>Assist with daily van setup, breakdown, and supply management</li></ul>Social &amp; Client Engagement Support<ul><li>Capture photos and short videos of pets, grooms, and behind-the-scenes operations</li><li>Assist with posting and engagement on approved social media platforms</li><li>Respond professionally to comments and messages within established guidelines</li><li>Support brand and client storytelling that highlights services, safety, professionalism, and pet care expertise</li></ul>Administrative &amp; Operational Support<ul><li>Assist with scheduling, client communication, and CRM updates</li><li>Support inventory tracking, supply restocking, and organization</li><li>Assist with general operational tasks as assigned to support business efficiency</li></ul>Behavioral &amp; Professional Expectations<ul><li>Maintain punctuality, reliability, and consistent attendance</li><li>Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed</li><li>Communicate respectfully with clients, team members, and leadership</li><li>Follow all company policies, safety standards, and procedures</li><li>Represent the Bubbles &amp; Beyond brand professionally at all times</li></ul>QualificationsRequired:<ul><li>Comfort handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments</li><li>Ability to follow structured processes and instructions</li><li>Strong work ethic and attention to detail</li><li>Comfort appearing in photos or videos for company use</li></ul>Preferred (Not Required):<ul><li>Prior experience as a dog bather, kennel assistant, or daycare attendant</li><li>Basic familiarity with social media platforms or content creation</li></ul>Role Scope &amp; ClarificationsThis position is not:<ul><li>A groomer or stylist role</li><li>A full-time marketing or influencer position</li><li>A desk-only administrative role</li></ul>When not actively assisting with grooming, team members are expected to support administrative, operational, or organizational tasks.
