Job Title: Front Desk Agent / Showroom Associate Company: J&amp;E Tile and FlooringJob Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday &ndash; Friday, 8:00 AM &ndash; 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)Position OverviewJ&amp;E Tile and Flooring is seeking a reliable and personable Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for our customers. This role is essential to creating a welcoming showroom experience while supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people, have a keen eye for design, and possess strong communication and basic sales skills.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet and assist customers in the showroom with professionalism and friendliness</li><li>Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments</li><li>Guide customers through product selections (tile, flooring, finishes) and help design the look of their spaces</li><li>Provide basic sales support, including discussing options, pricing, and closing smaller sales</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom</li><li>Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth project flow and customer satisfaction</li><li>Assist with administrative tasks such as order entry, invoicing support, and follow-ups</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Strong communication and customer service skills</li><li>Friendly, professional demeanor with a team-oriented mindset</li><li>Dependable and punctual&mdash;this role is critical to daily operations</li><li>Interest in interior design, home improvement, or flooring products</li><li>Basic sales ability or willingness to learn</li><li>Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Previous front desk, retail, or customer-facing experience required</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking ForWe are a small, tight-knit team and need someone who is dependable, proactive, and willing to jump in wherever is needed.
