Job Title: Front Desk Agent / Showroom Associate

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Position Overview

J&E Tile and Flooring is seeking a reliable and personable Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for our customers. This role is essential to creating a welcoming showroom experience while supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people, have a keen eye for design, and possess strong communication and basic sales skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the showroom with professionalism and friendliness
• Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments
• Guide customers through product selections (tile, flooring, finishes) and help design the look of their spaces
• Provide basic sales support, including discussing options, pricing, and closing smaller sales
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth project flow and customer satisfaction
• Assist with administrative tasks such as order entry, invoicing support, and follow-ups

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a team-oriented mindset
• Dependable and punctual—this role is critical to daily operations
• Interest in interior design, home improvement, or flooring products
• Basic sales ability or willingness to learn
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Previous front desk, retail, or customer-facing experience required

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
