JOB TITLE:ControllerENTITY:Henry Walker HomesJOB J. Fisher Companies is looking for a controller to oversee our residential homebuilder, Henry Walker Homes. The controller will ensure that all accounting and financial duties are performed and completed in a timely manner. This includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, bank reconciliation, cash disbursements, payroll, financial statements, and tax returns.RESPONSIBILITIES&middot; Create monthly, quarterly, or yearly financial statements for each entity&middot; Oversee the accounts payable process&middot; Oversee the accounts receivable and draw process&middot; Reconcile accounting records to bank statements&middot; Use historical data and projections to create/update cash flow models&middot; Act as a liaison between the partners/entities and bank provider&middot; Create monthly draws for homes under construction&middot; Prepare checks, wires, and ACH payments&middot; Work with the tax CPA to prepare year-end tax filings for every entity&middot; Any other duties as assigned relating to the finances or accounting recordsQUALIFICATIONS&middot; 5+ years experience in accounting&middot; 2+ years experience compiling and reviewing financial statement packages.&middot; Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures&middot; In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals&middot; Previous accounting experience in construction or homebuildingPREFERENCES&middot; Prior experience with Sage Intacct Required&middot; Prior experience with MiTek Kova Required&middot; Advanced MS Excel skills&middot; Relevant certification (e.g. CMA or CPA)Job Type: Full-timePay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) 3% Match</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
