<div>ROLE SUMMARY:
This role involves examining sample parts and to identify defects, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Conduct thorough inspections of finished orders, to identify any defects or non-conformities.</li><li>
Utilize various inspection tools and equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to measure and verify dimensions and quality.</li><li>
Record inspection results and maintain detailed reports on the quality and compliance of inspected materials.</li><li>
Place failed inspection parts on hold</li><li>
Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to communicate inspection results and recommend corrective actions.</li><li>
Enter production data into computer system</li><li>
Assist with final shipping packaging</li></ul>
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:<ul><li>
Excellent organizational skills.</li><li>
Great attention to details.</li><li>
Great ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.</li><li>
Good verbal and written communication skills. Speak, read, and write English preferred</li><li>
Basic mathematical skills and/or the ability to use a calculator</li><li>
Able to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Ability to create and maintain cooperative, team building relationships.</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in quality inspection or a related field is a plus.</li><li>
Previous experience in metal inspection, quality control, or a related field is preferred.</li><li>
Forklift license</li><li>
Experience working in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Experience working in a manufacturing company preferred</li></ul>
