ROLE SUMMARY:
This role involves examining sample parts and to identify defects, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct thorough inspections of finished orders, to identify any defects or non-conformities.

Utilize various inspection tools and equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to measure and verify dimensions and quality.

Record inspection results and maintain detailed reports on the quality and compliance of inspected materials.

Place failed inspection parts on hold

Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to communicate inspection results and recommend corrective actions.

Enter production data into computer system

Assist with final shipping packaging
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Excellent organizational skills.

Great ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Good verbal and written communication skills. Speak, read, and write English preferred

Basic mathematical skills and/or the ability to use a calculator

QUALIFICATIONS:
-
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in quality inspection or a related field is a plus.

Previous experience in metal inspection, quality control, or a related field is preferred.

Forklift license
-
Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Experience working in a manufacturing company preferred
